Toy Story 3 – Oscar Kampagne für ‚Bester Film‘

Mit Toy Story 3 möchte Disney Pixar erstmals mit einem Animationsfilm den Oscar für den besten Film erhalten. Um dies zu ermöglichen wurde eine eigene Oscar-Kampagne entworfen, in der mit Toy Story 3 Charakteren Szenen aus Filmen angedeutet werden, die die Statue für Best Picture bereits gewonnen haben.

Dazu zählen unter anderem Das Schweigen der Lämmer, American Beauty, Meuterei auf der Bounty, Platoon, Der Pate – Teil II, Der Clou, Shakespeare in Love und Die Faust im Nacken.

Schon zuvor gab es einige Plakate mit der Message „The best reviewed film of the year. The most successful animated film in history.“ (Zum Vergrößern anklicken).

Auf der eigens eingerichteten Webseite gibt es weitere Bilder und ein Statement von Rich Ross, dem Vorstand der Walt Disney Studios:
